Tonight’s goal/task: Mint a StarknetID. Link: https://goerli.app.starknet.id/identities

Cost: Free!

Difficulty: Easier than most

Reward Potential: Enormous but low probability of airdrop happening from just this.

Revisit? You can mint 3 IDs here for free. After that, no need to revisit this task. However, it’s a good idea to use dapps, etc in the Starknet environment.

1. Download a Starknet wallet (Argent for PC, Braavos for mobile)

2. Create an acct and save your seed phrase.

3. Use the Goerli testnet (not Mainnet)

4. Use the faucet to get some free Eth Goerli tokens in order to play around (you may need to use it several times to get enough Goerli Eth). If faucet is busy wait a min or two and try again. Wait for it to confirm (up to a few min). On mobile app it will prompt you. On PC go directly to this site, enter your address and follow the prompts: https://faucet.goerli.starknet.io/

5. On App go to main page. Click banner at top that says setup account. Wait a few minutes. (On PC: https://goerli.app.starknet.id/identities)

6. Click on NFT. Scroll down to StarknetID. Connect wallet. Click on giant + symbol. Sign and agree to pay “fees” (using the free testnet Eth). Wait for confirmation!

Bonus task: Mint a Starknet Domain and Link Social Media (vid 5:55): https://goerli.app.starknet.id/

Cost: 0.009 Eth + fees (real $ this time).

Difficulty: Maximum (not for beginners)

Cost: $50+ worth of deposits that can be withdrawn later. Playing around with larger amounts can often net you bigger airdrop rewards. Warning; there is a chance here that you could potentially lose your investment if the market sours! Be sure to withdraw before the strike price!

Level of Difficulty: Not for beginners, but its a good way to learn a little about decentralized finance (defi)

Reward: Small to Large; Similar sites have netted several Eth worth in comparable airdrops, but no guarantees.

Revisit? Yes. This isn’t a fund it and leave it task. You must monitor it. Additionally, consider moving funds around a couple of times a month during low gwei to reduce fees on Eth if needed (Sat or Sunday)

Lens.xyz protocol

Cost: Free (if you signed up last year) or $$$ (if this is new info)

Difficulty: Easier than most

Reward Potential: Hugely (Airdrop very likely, as Lens Tweeted and then deleted it recently, Coinbase is also making some noise here)

Revisit: Yes. At least Monthly. Lenz.xyz

How to obtain a Lens profile (Costly): If you don’t have one yet, you’re not going to like this part. Can check for eligibility here. Rest of us: Opensea has profiles available for purchase, but be forewarned that these NFT prices will drop considerably one Lens opens to the public. OpenSea Collection (consider trying to make offers on these NFTs at a much lower price… you might get lucky)

Note: you cannot change the name of your NFT purchase if you obtain it on OpenSea

Guide 4 of 4 Time Sensitive! Do this ASAP!

Here is a “not terrible” video of some tasks if seeing it is more helpful.

In the Ethfinance subreddit, Tricky_Trolls posted the following guide that I think is important to post here for everyone. Zksync is planning on an airdrop very soon! Possibly the biggest drop of this year!

[Hopefully, you’ve used the] “ZigZag exchange or ZKSync’s NFT minting app. [Do this now, ASAP. Use this NFT guide on Twitter]

Firstly, bridge some funds over to ZKSync Eras. You can already use many bridges like orbiter.finance which is also still on the potential airdrop list so that’s an opportunity to kill two airdrop birds with one transaction. Alternatively, if you just want the ZKSync airdrop, using their official bridge might be helpful.

Once you’ve bridged over some funds, the only DeFi app I’ve found which is functioning is spacefi.io. Their ZKSync AMM can be found here: https://swap-zksync.spacefi.io/#/swap

Also use: https://mute.io

They currently only have ETH, WETH and USDC [on ZKSync.spacefi]. So I bridged some USDC from mainnet using the official bridge and then started LPing the ETH-USDC pool. You can also farm SPACE but I haven’t looked into the details of that yet as I am not a DeFi degen. Maybe one of you folks could a deep dive for me.”

Also, mint an NFT in zksync lite wallet (see video at top)

Finally, you can claim a zksync domain name. Using 6 letter words is the cheapest.

Revisit? Yes. Bigger amounts usually qualify you fo bigger airdrops. Consider moving funds around a couple of times a month during low gwei to reduce fees on Eth if needed (Sat or Sunday). Bridge a decent amount through the official bridge.

-Use dApps at least once every 15 days. Don’t just do a bunch of transactions in a short period of time and then let it be. Do a decent amount of transactions during a long period of time.

-Maximize airdrop potential: Do decent amounts for each of those transactions. A few dollars won’t cut it. Aim for 1k a month minimum in agregated value between all the transactions you do.

-Provide liquidity

-Start soon. Early users tend to be rewarded

I’ve gotten the ETH from the StarkNet Faucet, what’s the Network Codes to add it manually to Metamask? The L2 Goerli ETH (if I’m understanding this one correctly)

Starknet: I don’t think its compatible with MetaMask yet. As far as i know SN Goerli Eth is only accessible with Argent X on PC or Braavos mobile.

Starkgate.starknet.io works for depositing from your MetaMask to your ArgentX/Braavos wallet. However, I’ve been trying to deposit funds into Starknet this way for the last couple of days and nothing is transferring over. Just visited their discord and apparently the network is overloaded and everything may fail. So, I’d wait a few days and then, if you do try, only send small amounts.

Its also a good idea to link your Starknet Domain to your social media platforms if possible. This video describes it (timestamp 5:55)

Some more potential airdrops (note: I haven’t used most of these):

DeFi:

• Arrakis – This one seems unlikely as the Gelato DAO has it’s own token, plus it’s been around for a couple years already. But it’s essentially a service to automate Uniswap v3 LPs
• Pika – Optimism-native derivatives platform
• Ondo – Security Tokens
• Aztec – Privacy, maybe unlikely, but there’s some updates coming so who knows
• TokenSets – probably unlikely, been around for years

NFT things:

• Magically – Similar to blur but with much less usage. Claiming the airdrop “boxes” is little to no risk, just connect your wallet, and list one NFT — I would recommend listing something that’s worthless, or soulbound
• Arcade – NFT Lending
• NFTFi – NFT Lending
