Anyone else into mechanical keyboards?
Show off your boards! I’m not a nut or anything but I just picked up Logitech MX Mechanical (104 key) and it’s sublime! I went with the “Tactile” keys which is very similar to a Red switch. Both Mac and PC keys on the key tops and bluetooth switching make it perfect for switching between multiple systems.

L1: Probably A Bot Never understood what you guys love about them. Maybe I’ll get it when I get to try one, but y’all mechanical keyboard nerds seem to only exist online

L4: Noob LOL, if you’re a typist/writer, gamer or just oldschool like me, then you have an affinity for the tactile feedback they provide. The noise, while sometimes pleasing, is a result of the key switch design. They sell quiet ones though. For me, having the key rows in a “theater seating” style setup with each row slightly elevated over the last one, helps to be able to find the right keys without looking. To be honest, modern keyboards probably work just as well if the keys are properly spaced. I mean the girl at the Apple store was busting out at least 80wpm on an iPad, hovering the home row. I could never! My caveman hands aren’t designed for that!

Oh man I thought I was the only obsessed with these – I went through a phase of obsessively researching mechanical keyboards a couple years ago and ended up with this one for the office (yes, pink and everything – it attracts a lot of comments) that I am thrilled with. Couldn’t be without it now

A Varmilo! ❤️ I am jealous! Maybe one day I will splurge a little. I’m sort of afraid to get too far into it because it seems like it could easily be an expensive addiction. Beautiful keyboard!
