Bob-Rossi HOP Delegate Communication Thread
Creating this thread as a place to collect all my thoughts in one area. Reddit isn’t particularly great for a running thread and I don’t want to take up too much space on the HOP forum itself at this time. My main plan for this is to over-time post my thoughts about HIPs (HOP Improvement Proposals) I missed before becoming a delegate. I believe it is important for people who are looking to delegate to me get a full picture of the type of person they are aligning their voting power with. However, people are free to add discussion how they please as well!
My formal delegate work will always be posted on the HOP governance form [Hop] & their discord [Discord]. Again, my goal is mostly to give myself a space to document outside of the main governance form, bounce ideas around, make working theories… NOT to create a way to circumvent HOP’s dedicated governance channels. I believe this will also be useful for me to reference material in the future.

L4: Noob I’m excited for you Bob! I don’t own any HOP but if I’m being honest I kinda want to buy some just to delegate to you. Can’t think of too many better people for this job.

I don’t really want to pressure people into buying since I hold some and would be biased / benefit from it, plus it’s real money and everyone’s situation is different so I get that. So I’ll leave it at if you do end up making that decision, it means a lot that you would take those steps to do so!

On 3/18/2023, voted “For” on HIP-23 “Proposal to deploy HOP on Scroll zkEVM”. 86.89K HOP vote total, myself and 3 other delegates.
