Caches + Hello3?
Posted by naron.eth on September 1, 2022 at 12:47 amHi JBM!
I just found out about this site, can’t believe I didn’t hear about it earlier in the daily!
Love what you’re doing here. I’m one of the founders of https://hello3.io, an app that allows users to sign in with their wallet without needing to sign anything or even carry their wallet with them. I was thinking it could be a perfect fit for Caches? It could lower the barrier to entry for people to sign in and check it out 😄Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hey naron! Welcome aboard! I checked out hello3 and it does look like a perfect fit! I’m going to dig deeper on it tomorrow, but it looks easy enough to implement. Thanks for the heads up homie!

Hey naron.eth. So caches here runs on PHP. I don’t suppose you have any PHP code examples do you? Just thought I’d check. If not, this will probably be put on the back burner for a bit until I can devote more resources to it. I like this though so I am going to put it on the roadmap.

Hey JBM!
Sorry for the late response, I missed that last message. Unfortunately we do not have expertise/code in PHP. We have created bindings for React though, but I guess that won’t be useful here?

No worries! Thanks for the reply! I don’t think react will help here. You have an API if I’m not mistaken. I will probably go that route. This will take me some time to code up, but I will put it on the roadmap to start as soon as I finish up the private messaging feature.

There is a “connector” service which has an API, but in fact everything is handled client side through cryptography, so it might be hard to implement yourself I’m afraid ☹

Hmm. Ok I will look into it either way. Maybe I can make it all work with React. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it’s really cool!
